The story of Solicantus began when Namratha Stanley (earlier Prashanth), an aspiring winemaker from India, met a Corinne Chevrier, a fourth-generation winemaker. Uniting her know-how plus  Namratha's passion and dedication,  Solicantus was born. 

Namratha arrived in Bordeaux in 2017, determined to rebuild her life after breaking free from domestic abuse and the constraints of a patriarchal society. Immersed in the vineyards of Margaux, she discovered the beauty of terroir, the dedication of its people, and the craft of winemaking.

Driven by her journey, Namratha now pledges a portion of wine sales to support the education of girls in India—believing that education is liberation, empowerment, and the path to progress.
